It didn’t start in a boardroom or a sterile office. It started with a shared realization: that the giants of our past deserve more than just a footnote in a textbook.
The real magic happened when our paths crossed with Fred Schmidt—the grandson of the legendary Jan Czochralski—and his wife, Shelley. Working alongside them, as well as the dedicated team at JanCZ.org, changed the trajectory of this project.
Together, we weren't just "opening a shop." We were building a bridge between the 20th-century laboratory and the 21st-century creator.
When we sat down to curate the JanCZ Store, we made a pact. Every item, every design, and every interaction had to serve a higher purpose.
